Our Roots
Appalachian Angels believes in universal access to quality healthcare. Founded by healthcare professionals community members on mission trips, our non-profit was established in 2023 to support underserved communities globally. We know that collaboration can help overcome challenges and create positive change.
We are a Medical Volunteer Organization in Charleston, West Virginia, delivering healthcare services to underserved communities globally. Our volunteer team provides medical care, consultations, medication, diagnostic testing, referrals, and community outreach in remote areas.

Medical Clinics
At our free medical clinics, we aim to improve healthcare access for those living in rural areas. As medical missionaries from West Virginia, we have been organizing and setting up clinics during our mission trips. Recently, we had the opportunity to hold a clinic at a tea plantation in Munnar, India and in 2024 went to Zambia, Africa to see over 700 patients. We are committed to providing quality care and making a meaningful impact on the community.
In August 2025, we plan to hold a 4-day clinic in the Philippines and are excited to start planning that trip.
